Your NLP Trainer – Paul McGowran

NLP Trainer, Facilitator, Coach, Therapist.  All these roles are possible because of my personal development journey with NLP

Hi, my fascination with NLP started in the 1990s (sounds a long time ago!). Having always been curious about people and why they do what they do NLP was the answer to my curiosity.

I completed my INLPTA Trainer’s Training in 2008 with INLPTA Founder, Dr. Wyatt Woodsmall certifying me. I completed NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy prior to NLP Trainer’s Training with my Master Trainers Dr. Susi Strang-Wood & Craig Wood.

Following on from becoming an NLP Trainer I quickly became one of the first ANLP Accredited Trainers of NLP and have maintained this status since 2008.  I have assisted other trainers on NLP Practitioner programmes, Master Practitioner programmes to further hone my NLP training skills.  I was also invited to be an assistant trainer on an NLP Trainer’s Training in 2012 with my Master Trainers.  After this Trainer’s Training I acquired the business of my master trainers, including the rights and title to their Memory Re-Solution process.

More than an NLP Trainer

Being an NLP Trainer is something that once you achieve (and it is still the most challenging ‘trainer training’ in existence) will never leave you.

Some trainers achieve the status and are satisfied. I’m not like that. I use my NLP trainer status to drive up the standards of my consulting business.

As an award winning practitioner and distributor of some of the world’s leading psychometric profiling tools I have worked with organisations on transformation and leadership development programmes. I have developed my own range of workshop materials and accessories to make workshops more fun and engaging.

I have spent many years working on major infrastructure projects around the UK. Think of all the multi-billion £ projects you hear about the news. I have worked on most of them with a specialist team developing collaborative working and collaborative leadership cultures.

In all the work I do the skills of being an NLP Trainer inform my every decision and action.

I strongly believe that unless NLP is taken out into the everyday working lives of people it will just be a model from text books. NLP has the power to totally transform the dynamics within teams. This is the only way organisations will achieve productivity improvements and transformed services. NLP has to be applied across the spectrum of occupations and professions.

My NLP Training Style

As a Trainer of NLP I have been described as thorough, intuitive and fun. I like to create an environment where every delegate is comfortable and feels safe to grow into their future self. However, NLP doesn’t stand on its own. The earliest beginnings of NLP are from Family Therapy, Hypnosis and Transformational Linguistics. Others have added to it over the years. All my programmes will reach across some of the most powerful personal development approaches developed over the last 50 – 60 years. Nothing exists in isolation, including NLP.

I look forward to welcoming you to Proactive NLP Ltd and assisting you on your transformation to who you have always wanted to be.
